Hopkins Vineyard Wedding – Warren Connecticut
Lily and Joey’s Connecticut Vineyard wedding was a perfect representation of them as a couple. Married in front of some of their closest friends/family. Lily and Joey’s ceremony was held in an off the beaten path chapel, most importantly followed by a reception over at one of my favorite Connecticut Vineyards, Hopkins Winery.
Hopkins is a small winery in northwest Connecticut. It’s off the beaten path atop a hill overlooking a local lake. Its a great place for a girls day out, family gathering or a weekend away. If wine isn’t your thing, Hopkins shares property with the cutest Inn. In the summer they have live music under a covered tent. You can shop their annual vendor fair, which features local Connecticut vendors. It makes for the perfect weekend away. You can stop by for a stamp on your CT Wien Train passport.
In designing their reception Lily incorporated her love of yellow and lemons. Dinner was a mix of a raw par and pizza truck. Lily, an amazing florist handled making all her own floral accents. The custom “T” and Polaroid frame are both the amazing work of Lily’s brother, a very talented woodworker. Each of his builds added something special to the space. Each unique element fit perfectly into their vineyard wedding concept.
Lily and Joey took the time and care to incorporate a lot of fun elements into their Fall Wedding. Each element helped to ensure their friends and family were able to enjoy every moment. There was a casino table, mobile bar from our friends over at The Mobile Pub, and a local musician played guitar and the bagpipes as guests gathered for their ceremony.
