When I started working with Bhavana and Kevin on their multicultural Connecticut wedding, they had only decided on two things: the date and the venue. For this reason, they chose to book a full-service package– which meant I assisted them in all of the decisions leading up to the wedding day.
The sweet couple were so excited about getting married and knew that they wanted the day to be a unique reflection of their relationship, but they were overwhelmed at where to begin.
This is where I got to work, I took a deep dive into who they were as a couple and their interests. With that information, I helped create the perfect design and refined their choices. Then I was able to come up with the perfect selection of vendors that matched the style and vibe they wanted for their big day.
Instead of having extra support for the rehearsal dinner, they chose to hold a henna ceremony the night before at Candlelight Farms.
It was important for Bhavana and Kevin to represent both cultures throughout their celebration. Both changed into traditional Indian attire after the ceremony, and Indian music was played during the reception.
The multicultural Connecticut wedding was a beautiful representation of the couple, who were so in love and made my job as their wedding planner super easy.
