I’m a strong believer that there is a song for every moment! I strongly believe that you can use a song to express feelings when you don’t have the words. Choosing special wedding songs to play at their wedding is one of details I find all our couples struggle with. That being said I wanted to share some of my favorite ‘slept on’ songs that are perfect for wedding moments.

There are a few versions of this song in addition to the original, ft. Tenille Townes, and the choir version. All perfect for a first dance and each version gives me straight goosies!

Butterfly Fly Away (Extended Version) – Billy Ray and Miley Cyrus

You may be saying umm the Hannah Montana movie? However, hear me out, just take a listen. This is the perfect song to use during a parent as well as a parent equivalent dance. I truly believe you have to do the extended version of this song if you choose it.

The Best Day (Taylor’s Version) – Taylor Swift

This one is a fun and upbeat song to use for a not only a parent, but a parent equivalent or sibling dance.

Little fun fact about this song. Tyler was writing this song about his wife and thought she was 5 foot 9, she is in fact 5 foot 10.

My Person (Wedding Version) – Spencer Crandall

You can use either the wedding or non wedding version for this song. It’s perfect for a ceremony, first dance, first or last private dance, or even your wedding video.

Rest Of Our Life – Tim McGraw and Faith Hill

If you have seen the ‘Say Hey’ page you know this couple is my #couplegoals! As a result, I believe Rest Of Our Life is a great fit for a private first look, first or last dance, or just when you cant express how you feel in words
